Midday in summer heat, work shaded pockets under overhanging brush or grass mats, and don't ignore wind-blown banks where bait gets pushed into cover — snakehead will stack up there.

Shore access here is workable, with mapped parking about 0.24 mi from the water, so a short walk gets you to fishable bank. If you want to cover more water or slip into backed-up pockets, a boat ramp roughly 0.45 mi away opens up kayak or small boat access, which is often the better call for reaching isolated grass beds and wood that bank anglers can't touch.
